Visitors are welcome to spend an hour or two at lunchtime with the sheep. Just contact us.
Meet Our Residents
At The Smallest Flock, it's all about the residents, currently 36 sheep. Most have been rescued from neglect or slaughter, or have disabilities. All are great characters, and most really love being with people.
Become a Guardian Angel
As an alternative to being a donor or a sponsor, you can become a Guardian Angel which is extremely popular with some of the residents having more than one Guardian Angel. It's not very often that a Guardian Angel gives up their chosen sheep so if you are thinking of becoming one you can choose a resident (or more if you so wish) or you can go on the waiting list and we will contact you once one becomes available.
Becoming a guardian angel for one of the residents at the sanctuary means you are helping to feed them. Winter time is particularly expensive and the more lives that come into the sanctuary the more food we need. Self funding the sanctuary is now not an option for Charlotte now that it has grown so much. Here at the sanctuary we now rely on donations and fundraising to keep us afloat and every penny is greatly appreciated. If you are interested in becoming a guardian angel for one of the sheep in 2022 please let us know. The monthly cost per sheep to become their guardian angel is £4 per sheep per month. You are welcome to become an angel for however many sheep you choose. You are welcome to end your scheme at any time but please let us know. In return you will be essentially feeding your sheep of choice. You will receive a photo card of your chosen sheep that you are welcome to come and meet any time.
You will also be able to have the pleasure of knowing you are helping the sanctuary, particularly your wonderful woolly friend
